Our unique camping cabin is a luxury, timber built, glamping pod. It is perfect for a getaway at any time of year when you don’t want the hassle of putting up and taking down a tent.
Designed and built by local Somerset company, The Cabinette Company, it is the first of the glamping units to arrive on our site and has proved a great success with those who have stayed in it so far. Set slightly away from the main camping and caravanning pitches, it is designed to sleep two adults with all the comforts of home, including a proper double bed with linen and throws, lockable door, storage and lighting.
It’s perfect for when the nights get a bit colder but you’re not quite ready to give up on summer camping yet. Timber glamping pods are well insulated and are great for short winter breaks as well. Situated on our friendly, camping and caravanning park, Nr. Yeovil in Somerset, our glamping cabin is bookable from just £35.00 per night per couple, to include all bedding.
Glamping, in cabins and pods, has gained in popularity over recent years and it’s not hard to see why, providing all the benefits of a camping holiday in the great outdoors without the downsides. Somerset is a wonderful county to enjoy a holiday at any time of the year and now the summer season can be extended year round!

The Cabinette Company have designed the glamping unit exclusively for Southfork Caravan Park. We wanted a unit that was traditional, but different. The resulting glamping pod is a fantastic addition to the campsite, it has a spacious, timber clad interior with plenty of head height thanks to the tall pitched roof and is fully insulated, to building standards, to the walls, roof and floor. The unit is light inside thanks to the fixed window and half glazed stable door. The covered verandah area is great for sitting out and cooking.
