The first
of our new Glamping units is completed.
‘Glamping’, or glamorous camping has risen in popularity in recent years
and it’s easy to see why. When you think
about camping, you may have memories of struggling to get a tent up or down in
the rain, uncomfortable leaky airbeds and restricting sleeping bags. Our Glamping pod offers all the benefits of
camping with none of the hassle and no tent to put up.
Glamping in our new pods allows you to extend
your camping season further in Autumn and even Winter as the units are fully
weatherproofed and insulated for comfort and extra warmth. The pods we have commissioned have been
supplied and erected by local firm (link to local company). They are suitable for year round use and come
with a lovely comfy double bed supplied with bed linen, they have lighting and
come furnished with a blanket box and table.
We have been busy building the
first of these pods onsite over the summer and are ready to welcome our first
guests.
Our
peaceful, rural camping and caravan site is set in the heart of Somerset within
easy reach of many local attractions and is an idea base for exploring the
area. There are some great places to
visit close by the park or you can just relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of
